Iowa’s star Caitlin Clark has garnered many accolades in the regular season and gathered countless blessings for her achievements. However, she recently had a rather bitter encounter on X. The person wrote a twisted hate comment that said, “Caitlin Clark is a talented basketball player, but her behavior during this tournament has been disappointing. We need athletes to set good examples for young people, and CC had the opportunity to be a positive role model but fell short. It’s not just her, players in all sports need to realize that young players look up to them and want to be like them.”
The comment has been posted along with a montage containing some video snippets of Clark having a tough moment during the first and second round matchups against Holy Cross and West Virginia. Due to this bitter portrayal, he ended up being blocked by Clark after a while.

Witnessing the action taken by Clark, fans have erupted in her support. Responding to the troll’s initial comment, a fan wrote, “Good on her! lol now let me see how many male athletes you’ve put on a pedestal like this? Because you say “all players should realize young people look up to them” but use a woman as your prime example, which is typical male behavior when a woman is successful.”

good for her. imagine waking up to everyone’s opinion on your every move. it would be exhausting
she can and should play her game, for her reasons, anyway she sees fit. it’s not her responsibility to raise our kids or even be an example to them

In between all of this, a fan praised Clark for being a fierce athlete and a passionate teammate, making her an excellent role model.
Good for her. Your tweet is totally whacked. My daughter has all the role models she needs, and I still encourage her to watch and cheer for Caitlin. She is fierce, driven and unapologetic while also being an excellent, considerate and supportive teammate. And so is my daughter.
