USC’s patience has been on a test this season. So far, in the 2023-24 campaign, the Trojans have only won nine of the 23 games. Sadly, LeBron James’ older son Bronny has not been able to use much of his talents on the hardwood. However, he does show at times that he comes from a royal family time and again as the opportunity arrives. While the team isn’t exactly going on the trajectory they had planned for, USC has a handful of good performers.
At the end of the day, Bronny is the son of King James, and basketball does run in his veins. Consequently, he gave his fans a few glimpses of his genetic skill set as he stole and buried a coast-to-coast shot.

The ball that was meant for Brandon Angel of the Stanford, got into the lively freshman guard’s hands. The basket bought two points for the Trojans. While the team ended up on the losing end, Bronny has shown some promise tonight. He has contributed 6 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds to the team. However, tonight was again not the night for USC as they got handed a disappointing loss by the Stanford Cardinals.
The Trojans were all around the place as their defense had no answers to the tenacity shown by Maxime Raynaud and Andrej Stojaković. Moreover, apart from Isaiah Collier, no other player was creating any sort of scoring opportunities. Apparently, they had 44.8% efficiency shooting from the field and were 6 of 20 from the three-point range. In addition to this, USC also had a dismal conversion rate from the free throws with just a 47.6% accuracy.
On the other hand, the Cardinals had 3 players who put on an explosive show at home.

The hosts definitely gave a beast-like performance to their home crowd. At the top is Maxime Raynaud who contributed a whopping 25 points to the team’s total. He also bagged 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Next is Andrej Stojakovic with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Following the lead were Spencer Jones and Benny Gealer with 15 and 14 points respectively.
The USC Trojans are not having the best campaign this time around. Even with performers like Isaiah Collier and Bronny James, the team only seems to be failing. On the other hand, the Cardinals maintained their standing with another win in their bags. Hopefully, the Trojans will get back up and reign the hardwood in their upcoming matches.
