The USC Trojans take on the Long Beach State 49ers as their next opponents in their Pac-12 campaign. Winning 5 out of their 8 games so far in the competition, USC will be looking to put on an impressive show on their home turf. Currently ranked No.9 in the competition, Andy Enfield’s team has had a mixed season so far.

However, the talk of the town is the return of their 6 ft 4 in shooting guard—Bronny James. The All-American guard is expected to make the most hyped collegiate debut with his father LeBron James in attendance at the Galen Center.

Addressing the media, Head coach Andy Enfield provided further details about Bronny’s comeback. He said, “It’s just going to be a feel for how the game’s going, how he’s playing, how he feels physically. Sunday will be very emotional for him as well as his teammates. But as the game progresses, I think he’ll settle in, and we’ll just play it half by half and see where he is.”

This is the first time in five months that we’ll get to see the eldest son of NBA icon LeBron James making his appearance on the court.

Unfortunately, Bronny suffered from a cardiac arrest during a practice session at USC on July 24th. Following this, he had to undergo treatment for his congenital heart defect. As per sources, the freshman guard will be coming off the bench on his debut for the Trojans. USC made an official announcement about his availability on Sunday morning. Apparently, the medical staff cleared him after his first two full-contact practices on Thursday and Friday.
