The dismay run for USC continues as they find themselves at 11th position in the Pac 12 Conference. The Trojans have lost 9 out of their last 11 games and seem to have no answers at the moment. The struggle of one of their most touted players, Bronny James further adds to their misery.

Now, as they travel to the Pauley Pavilion hoping to turn things around, it is essential for Andy Enfield to get the best out of his players. It is highly debatable if Enfield considers Bronny to be among his top picks.

Trojans ruled every pre-season media poll and were expected to finish in the second spot in the Pac-12. However, things didn’t turn out the way they intended as they suffered defeat in 16 out of their 26 games. In addition to this, they also have a horrid conference record of 4-11. As for Bronny, he also doesn’t seem to have a nice time in the middle. The 6′ 4″ freshman has managed to register a double-digit score on only 3 out of his 18 appearances.

Still, the management has the utmost faith in his abilities as they continue to utilize him on the court. Although, the interesting thing to notice here is that his playing minutes have been constantly curtailed. This was evident in USC’s double-overtime loss against Colorado where he could only appear on the court for 14 minutes. Nonetheless, he will be available for the Trojans tonight.

Buzz around Bronny

The eligibility of Bronny James for the NBA draft is expected to come around this year. It would be up to James Jr. whether to enter the draft or be at USC for another year. Anyhow, if he does choose to take the road toward professional basketball, the fans might see him in a Toronto Raptors jersey.

According to The Athletic, this popular franchise has been closely monitoring Bronny’s collegiate performances to get a clear picture of their first-round draft pick. In addition to this, Bronny can also get a chance to play alongside his father LeBron James. If we look into some recent media reports, the Lakers can consider Bronny to be one of their potential picks in their next draft.

It is still unclear what the future holds for King James’ big boy. However, one thing is for certain he needs to step up his game and make a worthy contribution for the Trojans. But for now, the fans will be eager to see what Bronny can bring to the table against UCLA tonight.
