Bree Hall arrived in South Carolina prepared to make a splash. As a standout at Wayne High School, she was used to being the go-to player—the one her team relied on. Welcome to college basketball. “That was the most eye-opening moment ever,” Hall says now, laughing.

But instead of letting it break her confidence, she fought through it. She worked on her game, built up her trust in herself, and found her place on the team.

Bree Hall‘s NIL contracts are where things get exciting. 

The SC Guard has already inked some big-time deals. Including a significant NIL representation deal with Excel Sports Management. She’s also partnered with some huge brands such as Sephora, Under Armour, and Keurig, so she’s a major force within both the beauty and lifestyle spaces.

The 1999-born girl is merging her passion for beauty and skincare with her basketball grind, too. “I really want to become one of the faces of makeup, fashion, and skincare in women’s basketball,”  she explained to Boardroom. Proving that athletes can be influencers as well. “The stereotype is that women‘s basketball is a boy‘s sport. You can‘t be girly playing.” She added.

Things really got amped up for Bree in 2024. She collaborated with Painted by James Charles, partnered with Sol Janeiro products, and even ventured into the gaming arena with Fortnite. She also collaborated with Bumble, establishing her influence among younger demographics.

With more than 101K followers on Instagram and a building TikTok presence, Bree is setting herself up for even more brand partnerships—and her future extends far beyond the basketball court. She‘s showing that athletes can reign supreme on and off the court, and she’s only just beginning.

Which High School Did Bree Hall Attend?

The 6-foot-tall didn’t have to wait for college to begin making waves! At Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio, she was already a celebrity. Consistently leading her team in scoring, rebounding, and defense, she often took over games when it mattered most. Her performances on the court caught the attention of national scouts as she was the all-time leading scorer, clinching the record previously held by Travis Trice. And of course, from there on, she quickly became a top-50 recruit, earning a 5-star rating from ESPN.

As a senior, she was averaging big numbers—25.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.3 steals per game. She was an Ohio Ms. Basketball and McDonald’s All-American, and received the Naismith All-America Honorable Mention recognition. She also played an instrumental part in leading Wayne to its first state quarterfinal appearance in 2021. Her high school coach, Travis Trice Sr, had praised her competitive nature, saying that she “knows how to win.” ​

Hall received her first college offer at Dayton in the eighth grade. By the time she was a senior, programs such as Kentucky, Ohio State, and Tennessee were all in pursuit of her. But it was South Carolina that won her over, and she was set to take her game to the next level.

“I wanted to be the player,” BH admitted. Thus, she chose SC Gamecocks to fit into an already championship puzzle.

Coming out of high school, Bree was struggling with self-doubt. And how could she not? She had joined a roster filled with elite talent, competing daily against some of the best players in the nation. Inside the SC Gamecocks, she had to earn her minutes. However, after speaking with her mom and Coach Staley, her attitude completely changed. As Staley put it, “She‘s finding herself.” Now, Bree isn‘t merely playing—she‘s directing, and she‘s capitalizing on this moment.

While in her freshman year, she only averaged 2.7 points and 1.5 rebounds in 9.3 minutes per game. During her senior year (2024-25), Hall’s contribution was firm as a starter, contributing 23.1 minutes per game and 6.3 points and 3.2 rebounds on average. Her field goal percentage was a little down at 36.0%, but she was still contributing nicely with 35.6% from three-point distance and 68.4% from the free-throw line. In total, across her 141 career games, Hall has averaged 5.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per contest.

While her numbers might still not be monumental, she tries to contribute however she can. Her development at the shooting and confidence levels has established her as a central contributor to SC. “In college basketball, everyone has a role on the team from the star player to the managers. The most important element of teamwork is contributing any way you can to achieve the common goal #team53,” Bree recently shared on her Instagram.
