During a tense Sweet Sixteen match against UCLA Bruins which ended 69-78 in favor of the Tigers. Aneesah Morrow took a hard fall and Reese immediately dropped to the floor to check if her teammate was ok. It felt like Morrow needed a moment to get the feeling back, as she might have faced some breathing issues. Despite suffering nose bleeding, Reese ensured that she helped Morrow get up and be there for the guard.

Angel Reese hurt her nose in the first half of LSU’s Sweet 16 clash. The Tigers forward took a blow to her face from UCLA’s Lauren Betts while chasing an offensive board. With just over 41 seconds remaining in the first quarter, the scores were tied at 15-15. She continued with the bloody nose after some quick treatment from the doctors and helped the Tigers secure the win.
