Bloodied Nose Didn’t Stop Angel Reese From Wiping Injured Teammate’s Tears Leaving LSU Fans in Awe

Angel Reese fandom are giving her flowers for a heartwarming gesture. Known for watching her teammates’ back, the LSU superstar is being hailed for displaying a true sportsperson’s conduct during a distressing court moment. With Lady Tigers roaring their way into March Madness, Kim Mulkey’s attagirl’s conduct stood out for her diehards as well as detractors.

During a tense Sweet Sixteen match against UCLA Bruins which ended 69-78 in favor of the Tigers. Aneesah Morrow took a hard fall and  Reese immediately dropped to the floor to check if her teammate was ok. It felt like Morrow needed a moment to get the feeling back, as she might have faced some breathing issues. Despite suffering nose bleeding, Reese ensured that she helped Morrow get up and be there for the guard.

Fans took notice of this act, and one even called it a sweet moment: “Very sweet moment after Aneesah Morrow went down hard. Angel Reese immediately got on the floor with her, and then when Morrow was up, Reese held Morrow’s face in her hand to make sure she was OK.”

Angel Reese hurt her nose in the first half of LSU’s Sweet 16 clash. The Tigers forward took a blow to her face from UCLA’s Lauren Betts while chasing an offensive board. With just over 41 seconds remaining in the first quarter, the scores were tied at 15-15. She continued with the bloody nose after some quick treatment from the doctors and helped the Tigers secure the win.

Fans in awe of Angel Reese

The “Big 3” of Flau’jae Johnson, Aneesah Morrow, and Angel Reese combined for 57 points this afternoon for the Tigers. Reese finished the game with another double-double, scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Fans were quick to applaud Reese’s effort of taking care of Marrow when she was hurt herself.

One fan wrote, that as a teammate Reese is probably the best. Since she was wiping Morrow’s tears when she was down and hurt.

Another fan was quick to point out the leadership quality that Reese has been showing throughout the season.

Hating Reese on social media is easy as per one fan. But she needs to be praised for always being the first to help her teammate.
