Fans are flooding social media platforms with comments on the hot happenings of Angel Reese and Kim Mulkey. The LSU star was benched during the second half of LSU-Kent State matchup and triggered an online uproar. It’s unclear if this is related to Reese’s poor grades. However, the question of LSU winning another championship and Reese’s education hangs on the same thread.

At the start of the season, the Lady Tigers were considered strong contenders due to their impressive performance in the previous year’s NCAA March Madness tournament. However, with Reese out, the LSU may face challenges ahead.

In light of LSU’s aspirations for another NCAA tournament run, the matter has drawn a lot of attention online. The main trigger is a post on Angel’s education.

Fans have mixed reactions over this post, as some comments were derogatory and others supported Angel Reese in her tough situation.

Parallely, another fan stated that student-athletes never attend their classes and raised a question about Angel’s low CGPA. “Everybody knows student-athletes don’t even go to class.” Despite that, a fan did talk about the reality of college athletes. “They put these college athletes in professional status too early. I agree with helping them get paid, but all the hype along with the basic college grind is a lot. All offseason she’s on lavish trips posing for social media; she’s in her bag already. These are young adults, not mature adults; we can’t expect them to be grown and responsible.”

This online reaction saw a twist when Flau’Jae Johnson and Angel Reese’s family members engaged in a contentious back-and-forth on social media.
