To witness the association of Angel Reese and Cardi B is nothing new for the fans. The All-American forward had the fans go crazy when she featured in a cameo in Latto and Cardi B’s ‘Put It On Da Floor Again‘ music video. Now, on her senior day, the 21-year-old displays another sign of affection for the prominent rapper.
Reese turned quite a few heads after her final conference game on Monday. As it turns out her resounding performance was not the only talking point of the night.
Angel Reese flaunts her Cardi B connection

After a fantastic LSU display, Angel Reese and Co. were addressing the media. Apart from the burning questions, the other interesting thing to notice was the pin on Reese’s sweatshirt. Apparently, the pin features Cardi B in an LSU top. Soon after, Reese took to her Instagram and posted a story about her special gesture. She wrote, “I LOVE YOU CARDIIIIIII and My Heart I Love Her.” to show her bond with Cardi.
Last Year in June, the NCAA’s Most Outstanding Player set the internet on fire by appearing in Latto and Cardi B’s ‘Put It On Da Floor Again‘ music video. In addition to this, the song has a part in which Cardi mentions Reese and the LSU in her lyrics. It goes like, “I been balling so damn hard, could’ve went to LSU.”

Meanwhile, it was another successful outing for LSU that made it a special occasion for Reese.

Angel’s blockbuster Senior day
The Bayou Barbie had quite a remarkable senior day. After being escorted by Uncle Shaq himself, she put on a standout performance to lead the Lady Tigers to a 77-56 victory against the Kentucky Wildcats. Combining with Morrow, she registered yet another double-double as she finished her outing with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Following this, she reflected more on her performance in the post-game press conference. Angel said, “Being able to be a leader on this team, I’ve got to be in 40-minute shape. I feel like I’m in a better place right now, being able to be in shape … and play defense and be there for my teammates.”
