From winning the national championship to being benched in a game, year 2023 has been full of surprises for the LSU star Angel Reese. Now that the year has come to an end, it leaves us with nothing but memories. Showcasing her annual journey, Reese recently took her fans on a ride down memory lane leaving the basketball community in awe. 

As she shares the chapters of her life-changing timeline on social media, this year will always be remembered as a cornerstone in her career.

Angel Reese’s 2023 Journey

Angel Reese recently took to her Instagram stories to say goodbye to her groundbreaking year. She reposted a post originally uploaded by shetalkzz on Instagram, which said, “I just realized the last day of 2023 is a Sunday and the 12.31.23 which means new day, new week, new month, new year, new everything. The ultimate Sunday reset.”

Along with this post, Reese also expressed what can be expected from her this new year as she wrote, “Cooking, Cleaning, and making my vision board!,” showcasing she is actively preparing for the upcoming year by engaging in activities that symbolize renewal, organization, and setting goals. In another story, the Bayou Barbie shared numerous pictures of her throughout the year and captioned it with, “2023, THANK You. This year CHANGED MY LIFE. The good & the bad, I loved every part of it. I know so much more is to come!!”

Looking forward to 2024, Reese will be entering the WNBA league and fans are eagerly waiting to find out what will be made out of her as she steps into the professional world.

The start of the ongoing NCAA served as a reality check for the swimsuit model, as her team lost to a low-ranked team. However, she was the only one who was targeted by the haters. But her unapologetic attitude helped her throughout her journey to become a star and block all the negative voices.

As the season continued, Reese and the fans were shocked when coach Kim Mulkey decided to sub-out her in a match against Kent State. Following this upset, the star player was then sidelined from straight four games due to unknown reasons.
