The superstar who became the subject of speculations requested people not to believe every story they heard. Coach Mulkey, during post-game pressers, also assured fans about Reese’s comeback. “Please don’t believe everything you read,” she wrote.

Despite her comeback in the next game, she continued to face fan fury. In the backdrop of these events, Angel got sidelined. “Folks pls do not send me long text msgs with a bunch of grammatical errors it gives me a headache,” Angel Webb Reese addressed the growing inquiries related to her daughter’s alleged suspension. “How do I know you said what you said if I can’t understand what you’re saying?”

Responding to Webb, Brooks said, “You definitely know about grammar errors when your daughter got a 2.0 or less GPA. … Stop being petty, fake and hateful, and take responsibility for you and your daughter’s actions.”
