Amazed by Shaq’s Fake GOAT, Angel Reese Flaunts $11.2 Million Brand Sponsorship

Angel Reese greeted by Shaq’s fake GOAT

It’s official that Angel Reese has landed a partnership deal with Reebok. The announcement was made earlier this week when the 21-year-old was seen posing in her new Reebok gear.

In her latest Instagram story, Angel also posted a photo of her sitting on a fake goat statue with a Reebok greeting card containing a personal message from the President of Basketball for Reebok and the NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. The message read, “Welcome to the family, GOAT. I believe in you, Love, Shaq.”

Angel captioned the photo, “Still laughing at @shaq surprising me with a fake GOAT for my first @reebok shoot!” The post was also uploaded on Reebok’s official Instagram handle. It contained Angel posing in black-and-white casual wear with Reebok’s custom-made accessories and white Reebok sneakers, with a caption: “Reebok x Angel Reese – She wears a uniform on the court, now see her hand-picked Reebok uniform she sports off the court.”

However, it’s not her first brand collaboration where she ventured into modeling.

In May 2023, Bayou Barbie was photographed by Yu Tsai, a fashion photographer based in Los Angeles. The photoshoot happened after Reese led the LSU Lady Tigers to its first NCAA national championship in women’s basketball in April this year.

Along with winning the championship, she has also been honored with the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player Award. Post her junior season, she surpassed $1 million in valuation, which made her one of the highest-paid college athletes from NIL deals. Angel has the kind of personality who knows how to excel in both on-court and off-court performance. Her looks for the SI photoshoot were a collection of playful, strong, energetic, and confident, giving an almost exact reflection of Angel as a human being and as an athlete.
