For the second year in a row, Caitlin Clark is the center of attraction in the NCAA before its conclusion. After orchestrating a stunning redemption against the defending champions LSU in the regional finals, the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer now enjoys a series of personal spoils bestowed upon her.
Before the highly anticipated Final Four game between UConn and Iowa, Caitlin Clark got tremendous recognition. The stalwart No.22 of the Hawkeyes grabbed a total of 7 awards for the second consecutive year. Clark is now a two-time Associated Press Women’s College Basketball Player Of The Year and a two-time Naismith College Player of the Year. The Hawkeyes played Wheel of Fortune to announce Clark as the AP Player of the Year.

In addition to this, the 6 ft guard is also the winner of the Wade Trophy for 2023 and 2024. Furthermore, Clark also won an honorable mention in the Unanimous first-team All-American for 2024. As it turns out, this is the third time in three years her name has been acknowledged. She also made the USBWA and AP First-team All-American to add additional icing to her fantastic list of accolades. Last but not least, she was conferred with a fourth WBCA Coaches’ All-American on the trot.

Caitlin Clark celebrates her personal triumphs
After claiming all these major accolades, Caitlin Clark reflected on what these accomplishments mean to her. She told KCCI Des Moines, “I think that’s the best part about what I get to do. I grew up having those role models and aspiring to be where I am today. It’s super special to see your impact not only in the state of Iowa but across the country. To be able to have that impact on the next generation is really special, and you just hope to dream and aspire to be like you one day and chase after all their dreams.”
