Michael William Krzyzewski fondly called Coach K is one of the most recognizable faces in college basketball. The legendary coach had been a part of Duke for over 42 years and recently decided to step down from his role at the end of last season. While he may no longer be on the coaching seat the 76-year-old is still a popular figure in Durham and still serves as an influential figure in the basketball community. Now serving as an advisor to the NBA league office and team executives, the 3x Olympic gold medalist has continued to give back to the sport as he transitions to a life of retirement.
Despite him hanging his coaching boots only a year ago Coach K continues to have an ever-lasting impact on the community with one particular TV show recently name dropping him during an episode. With Mike continuing his transition to a life off the court he recently made an admission of wanting to make a cameo on the show as he looks to divert his attention to something other than basketball.
