The NBA All-Star Weekend spectacle featuring Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu was an absolute blast. The 3-point contest between the two best shooters of their respective divisions managed to take the sensation among fans to another level. Now, with Iowa’s prolific 3-point shooter Caitlin Clark all set to turn pro, we might have a chance to see her in action in next year’s All-Star event. However, the interesting thing to see now is who would want to go against her? Luckily, we have a candidate in the 6 ft 1 in point guard from Atlanta Hawks.
Talking to Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks, Trae Young expressed his thoughts about a face-off with the NCAA all-time leading scorer in a 3-point contest at the All-Star weekend. He said, “Of course I would. I’ve gotten to talk to her too throughout her college years. We’re the only two people that ever led the college in points and assists. That’s a crazy stat. I would. I’d have to definitely practice a lot more than I have for these previous 3-point competitions. Na’h I’d be ready for sure. I’d do it.”
