Shedeur Sanders blushing—Is Jada Williams' bluntness a breath of fresh air in sports?

It doesn’t matter how big of a show you put on. If your opponents blast your song and make some moves while mocking you? Then you have royally messed up. The Huskers game opened our eyes about Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders, and the Buffs. Despite the close clash with NDSU, Coach Prime didn’t make the necessary changes to the team. This allowed the Huskers to break through the O-line and target Shedeur Sanders easily. 28-10 was on the scoreboard the Buffs and Shedeur had to leave the field with their heads low. If you thought that this would be the only “L” Shedeur would get this entire week, then folks, you were wrong.

On the 6th episode of 2Legendary, Shedeur decided to bring on basketball star Jada Williams. On the show, Deion Sanders Jr. had a question for Williams. “What would you rate ‘Perfect Timing’ on 1 to 10?” Deion Jr. asked. Williams kept it quite blunt. “I never listened to the whole song. I just be seeing the little clips on social media,” Williams mentioned. Shedeur dropped the single back in May and Williams thinks that despite not hearing the whole thing, the song still goes along well with Shedeur’s aura. After hearing her response, Shedeur just couldn’t stop laughing. “Okay, at least it gets out there,” Shedeur noted. The entire origins of the song are kind of based around the watch incident which Shedeur is so infamously known for. The hilarious part is that, while most people only remember Shedeur flexing his watch to the Sun Devils after the Buffs won that game last season, what you didn’t know is Shedeur also flexed his watch to the Nebraska team before the 2023 game.

After Huskers receiver Billy Kemp IV decided to stand on the Buffs logo, Shedeur took it personally and after landing 2 TDs, couldn’t help himself from flexing. ‘Perfect Timing’ has multiple lines present in it talking about money and luxury and also has Shedeur flexing his watch and necklace. So it was almost poetic when the Huskers blasted the song in their locker room after the 28-10 loss that the Buffs suffered. Williams was kind of able to touch a nerve with this one, people. However, if we change our dials and focus on something better, then it would be appropriate to note that, much like Shedeur, Jade is somewhat of a prodigy as well.

Jade Williams, the 19-year-old Wildcats guard

Back in high school, Jada Williams was already a big name. Staying her team’s captain for 4 consecutive years, Williams went on to become the MVP for each season. While representing the US, she managed to grab 2 gold medals at FIBA U16 (2021) and FIBA U17 (2022). Being picked up by the Arizona Wildcats, Williams has made major progress in her college career as well.

The freshman managed to grab McDonald’s All-American and SLAM All-American honors back in 2023 because of her performance playing for the Wildcats. In the current season, the young star has already managed to accumulate a field goal percentage of 37. Much like Shedeur, Williams is quite good at what she does. While it is true that Shedeur often makes some fatal mistakes because of his “ego” or attitude problems, at the end of the day, he could become a good guide for Williams as she journeys through her freshman years as a star player.
