Angel Reese is getting excited about a new team-building while cooling her heels for the upcoming season. Transferred from Maryland to LSU, Reese has dominated the league and gave the Lady Tigers their first-ever championship last season. The stardom of the university has also risen to new heights because of her presence and performance. And to improve their championship chances, coach Kim Mulkey is now luring more star-prospect athletes to LSU at a time when the Hailey Van Lith’s transfer has already made enough buzz over the roster’s stardom. But Angel Reese wants more.
This would be the last year for Angel Reese in the NCAA before getting drafted into the professional league. The already draft-eligible star is highly anticipated to win her second consecutive championship to enter the league as a two-time NCAA champion. With a loaded roster of star prospects, LSU should bear the weight of delivering an extraordinary quality of game this season.

LSU is hosting star prospects for the new season. The recruiting trail of the Tigers includes Sarah Strong, Joyce Edwards, and Jaloni Cambridge. However, the certainty of players joining the team is yet to be known, as the Tigers push really hard to make them work.

Reese has expressed her thoughts on bringing the new prospects apart from Hailey Van Lith and Aneesah Morrow. The team will have no shortage of talent. Yet it’ll be crazy to fight among the team to shine up individual talents. Reese wrote on Twitter, “Playing with @thesarahstrong, @JoyceEdwards2, and @JaloniCambridge my last year would be crazy, right? @iGREDUS.”
Following their first-ever National Championship, Kim Mulkey and the Tigers signed the top recruiting class for the Transfer Portal in 2023. Hailey Van Lith is the top prospect, and Aneesah Morrow is the second potential. And again, the hunt for talent has begun.

LSU’s recruitment drive
The 2024, 2025, and 2026 classes feature five-star talents that the reigning National Champions have brought in. LSU has the top player, Sarah Strong, in the 2024 Class on their roster since they’ll shortly be hosting her. Joyce Edwards, the No. 2 player in America, will also be visiting along with Strong, having already visited LSU on an in-home visit.
Jaloni Cambridge of Ensworth, the best player in the Class of 2024, is on the list of Kim Mulkey, who was in Nashville on Friday night to watch her play.
