“No One Could Pull This Off Today”: Dennis Rodman Sharing Iconic Moment From 1998 Leaves NBA Fans a Frenzy

NBA legend Dennis Rodman was not only noted among the whoops world for grabbing rebounds, but also for the plethora of exploits that he performed during his NBA days. Each one of the Worm’s activities was unique and showed a glimpse of his wild persona. Recently, the five-time champion shared a video of an iconic moment of his career from 1998 that caught the fans’ attention and made them discuss on the affair on social media.

During his NBA days, every so often Rodman used to surprise the NBA world with some of his off-the-court exploits. However, in 1997, Dennis the Menace shocked both the hoops and wrestling world when he made his WCW debut after joining hands with the legendary wrestling stable, nWo.

Lately, the five-time champion shared a video of him flexing the iconic WCW World Heavyweight Championship with the nWo. In the video, the Worm proudly showed off the championship belt along with smoking a cigar in front of his friend-cum-one of the instrumental members of the aforementioned wrestling stable, Hulk Hogan. He captioned the video, “Rodzilla. Brother,” which referred to his WCW ring name.

Meanwhile, shortly after the video was posted on his Instagram account, it received a lot of comments from the fans. They flooded the comment section with their opinions and thoughts. Most of the fans showered adulations on the now 61-year-old and probably got a bit nostalgic too. Some of them even addressed him as a legend. Overall, the fans seemingly loved the video posted by him.

The Worm’s wrestling career was highly successful. He bagged over $1 million from his occasional appearance on the show. Moreover, the show also got benefitted from him. With the introduction of Rodman in the sport-entertainment industry, the WCW legend, Eric Bischoff was able to popularize the industry. Though Dennis the Menace’s wrestling career was short and didn’t last long, it gave the fans the utmost entertainment.
