Quite recently his daughter Me?Arah O?Neal was in the news for making waves on the basketball court.
Shaquille O’Neal is himself an LSU graduate. Shaquille O’Neal achieved a lot during his three years at the LSU Tigers. He even got his name etched in the ‘Athletics Hall of Fame’. It remains to be seen that his daughter will follow in his footsteps and becomes a basketball great in the upcoming years.

Me’Arah O’Neal, who stands 6 foot 4 inches tall, follows her father’s footsteps as she also plays as a center on the court. She will want to carry her father’s legacy forward once she enters the WNBA.
Recently in a video posted by Courtside Films, Me’Arah was seen showing off her flamboyant ball-handling skill on the court during the EYBL session. There’s no doubt that Me’Arah will enter the WNBA as one of the top picks in the future. In the ESPN rankings, she is rated as a 3-star post player with a 90 overall rating for the 2024 WNBA draft.
During her freshman year, she was seen averaging 5.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game. It remains to be seen if she will join her father’s alma mater that is LSU tigers as she took a visit to the college earlier this year, or will she take a different route to the WNBA.

Angel Reese lets Shaq’s comment slip
Angel Reese is making waves in the world of college basketball. She is averaging 23.0 points and 15.4 rebounds per match throughout a 36-game season. Her performance has impressed Shaquille O’Neal so much that Shaq recently made a strong claim about her. He said, “She’s probably the greatest athlete to ever come out of LSU sports. You heard it here first. Male and female.”?
Many were taken aback by his comments. Recently Reese revealed what Shaq replied when she asked him, “Do you know how much pressure you just put on me?” Shaq replied, “I don’t give a fu*k.”?Shaq was quite clear that he meant what he said earlier. The onus lies on Reese to prove the seven-foot giant right about his claim!
