Bam Adebayo and A’ja Wilson have set the internet talking once again! The rumored basketball couple often take to social media to tease one another but neither has confirmed the rumors of a romantic relationship yet. In the latest edition of their X banter, Adebayo seemingly praised Wilson after her team’s thrilling victory over the Chicago Sky.

The Las Vegas Aces had been dominating the game before the Sky started scoring points near the end of the last quarter. With 1.1 seconds remaining on the clock, Wilson threw a buzzer beater and that was it! The Aces won 77-75, retaining their playoff spot with ease.

After the match, the Aces point guard took to X to write, “Could’ve built a house with my bricks today but WONT HE DO IT on this lovely Sunday afternoon 🤸‍♀️” In true Adebayo fashion, he responded to the tweet like he’d done with the white t-shirt post last week.

In an X post that wasn’t a direct reply to anything, it might seem, the Miami Heat star wrote, “Keep building today 🧱 by 🧱 !!” The bricks in reference could be the bricks thrown at her metaphorically. Sky rookie Kamilla Cardoso had been marking Wilson continously and making her job harder. At half-time, Wilson even said in an interview, “Everyone has to do their job. From the players, to the refs to the coaches … I don’t appreciate being looked at and stared at as if you’re trying to intimidate me.”

But the WNBA player gave a fitting reply to Chicago by making the winning shot and taking revenge for her injured teammate as well. Had he been able to, Adebayo might have attended the game like he’s done before. This rumored couple has been seen at each other’s games for months now, with NBA stars Donovan Mitchell, Grant Williams and Torrey Craig joining Adebayo at one July Aces game.

As if in response, Wilson was present at the men’s basketball game at the Olympics in Paris when USA played Brazil. She has attended previous games of Heat vs. the Lakers in LA as well, though it has never been confirmed if the two have watched each other’s games specifically for their rumored significant others.

On Aug 18, Wilson posted a picture of herself in a crumpled-looking white tee that said, “Fresh out the pack 🤍” Some 40 minutes later, Adebayo posted, “Do people still iron their clothes?? Or did it stop after Covid?” Again, it could just be an X post as normal, but given the current circumstances, internet sleuths believe otherwise. What’s interesting is, these two players share more than a similar shooting style.

In a clip, Wilson can be seen shaking hands with Adebayo and those by his side on the sidelines. With the Heat player, it seems like the Aces point guard does it a little differently than the rest, making it seem like a movement only these two know.
