NBA Veteran Steps In for LeBron James’ Lakers and Cowboys After Skip Bayless Dishes Out “Humiliating” Remark

The Dallas Cowboys‘ embarrassing loss in the NFL wild card round has lit a fire under Skip Bayless. While the media personality is often known for highlighting negative commentary over the positives, an NBA legend was not happy after hearing what Bayless had to say about the defeated Cowboys. While firing back at Bayless, Eddie Johnson used Skip Bayless’ previous barrages toward LeBron James to prove his point.

Skip Bayless tweeted, “THIS HAS BECOME THE MOST HUMILIATING PLAYOFF LOSS IN DALLAS COWBOYS HISTORY. WE WERE 7.5-POINT FAVORITES, WITH THE 2 SEED AND THE NO. 1 OFFENSE AND A DEFENSE THAT LED THE LEAGUE IN PRESSURES.” But this led to Eddie Johnson replying, “But you will still waste Americas time spending 90 mins talking Cowboys and Lakers on your variety show! Thats Humiliating,” the Phoenix Suns legend added with laughing emojis.

Bayless’ rant on the Cowboys is justifiable after their atrocious performance. However, Bayless himself has been doubting the Cowboys for months, although he is a fan of the team. So even though he is currently expressing his unhappiness at the Cowboys’ defeat, Eddie Johnson feels like he would use this to spend time on his show Undisputed, just like he would with LeBron James’ defeats in the NBA.

Skip Bayless has gone viral countless times for the comments he has made towards LeBron James. Whether it be with the Lakers in the regular season or with the Miami Heat in the NBA finals, Skip Bayless trashing LeBron James any chance he got has been a staple of his show. But Bayless always makes his show entertaining with what he has to say, although it may involve tearing down some athletes in the process.

Skip Bayless has challenged LeBron James

In recent months, Skip Bayless has started to mellow down on his LeBron James takes. However, this didn’t stop him from making an absurd statement in early January. As the Los Angeles Lakers have struggled, talks about Darvin Ham’s coaching have been brought up as a concern. However, Skip Bayless used this opportunity to issue a challenge to LeBron James.

The 72-year-old said, “LeBron obviously is having issues with Darvin Ham. Somebody has to be blamed for this. So seriously, why doesn’t LeBron do what the great Bill Russell did – play AND coach? LBJ would be great at that … but then he’d have only himself to blame.”

While this can come off as advice, it seems more like Bayless is plotting a plan to make LeBron James the focal point of the Lakers’ struggles so he can be held responsible for all their struggles in the end.
