Los Angeles Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka has reportedly contacted the Sacramento Kings for a trade deal involving Kyle Kuzma.
For a few days now, the rumour mills have been spinning around the Lakers wanting to trade Kyle Kuzma to strengthen their roster as the franchise look for its first NBA Championship since 2010.
So far, they have looked good enough to compete for the Championship, but for some frailties. They still need to look for players in the attack beyond their star duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. While a few expected Kyle Kuzma to take up that role prior to the season, the 24-year doesn’t yet look ready for it.

In the wake of it, the Lakers are now known to be looking for options to strengthen their roster further.
Sacramento Kings Bogdan Bogdanovic was earlier linked with an exchange deal involving Kuzma. But it was also believed that the Kings will not be interested in a straight swap.
Sacramento is among the teams that has tried to engage the Lakers in Kyle Kuzma trade talks, league sources say. The Kings know they would have to include sharpshooter (and soon-to-be restricted free agent) Bogdan Bogdanovic, for starters, in a Kuzma deal

Trade rumours not a worry for Kyle Kuzma
Meanwhile, Kuzma seems to be unaffected with all the rumours surrounding him. A few days back, he said these come as a part of being in a franchise like Lakers.
“I mean, I just got to not worry about it. For me, I’ve been in trade rumors ever since I came here. I think that’s just a thing that happens when you’re a Laker,” Kuzma said as per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

“You’re always in trade rumors, especially around this time, so it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day, you just control what you can control.”
