It was another Zlatan sarcasm, but James kept his focus on the NBA. Fans, too, were expecting some drama, but it never happened. Ibrahimovic played for the LA Galaxy for two seasons in 2018 and 2019. He made it to MLS ALL Star game and MLS Best XI in his first season. He also won the MLS Newcomer of the Year in 2018. In both seasons, he won the LA Galaxy Player of the Year. After 2019, he returned to Europe with Manchester United.
LeBron James replies to “politics” comments made by Ibrahimovic
Ibrahimovic again tried to reignite the war of the words last year when he openly criticized James over politics. Ibrahimovic wanted the athletes to stay out of politics and focus on the sports they were playing by mentioning LeBron James.
Ibrahimovic said, “I like (James) a lot. He’s phenomenal, what he’s doing, but I don’t like when people with a status speak about politics. Do what you’re good at doing. I play football because I’m the best playing at football, I don’t do politics. If I’d been a politician, I would be doing politics,” while speaking to Disney+ in Sweden in February 2021.
Meanwhile, this time, James came with a befitting reply to the soccer star. James has been actively speaking about racism and police brutality. He often criticized Donald Trump, former US President.
