Giannis Antetokounmpo would be among the first names if any NBA club is asked a player they would like to sign. The Greek freak will be hitting free agency in 2021, and clubs will swoop over him if he does decide to move.
A player of such quality will also take a significant amount from the salary cap of any team. Recent reports suggest that Toronto Raptors are looking to save their some amount from their salary cap for Antetokounmpo when he hits free agency in 2021.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN felt that Toronto will not compromise salary-cap flexibility for the 2021 offseason.

“I think for Toronto, they look at this season and then they look at the summer of 2021, when like a lot of teams, they want to be in the sweepstakes for Giannis Antetokounmpo,” Wojnarowski said on the Woj & Lowe: Trade Season Special, as per RealGM. “You’re not going to see them do anything here that’s going to compromise their salary-cap flexibility for the following year.”
Giannis has been a part of the Milwaukee Bucks roster since he was drafted in with the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft. He was the NBA’s most Improved Player in 2017 and has been an NBA All-Star every year since. He was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2019, and is one of the hottest players in the league.
Giannis started the 2019/20 season where he had left, and he is certainly one of the contenders to win the award again.
While nothing so far suggests that Giannis would want to leave the Bucks, the Raptors roster which has a few non-American players might be a good place for him if he does want to leave.
Giannis, in this season, has been leading his team in their terrific run. They are comfortably on top of the Eastern Conference with a 24-3 record.
