Barkley started to trash talk when Brady didn’t start particularly well, hitting a few shots into the trees. While Brady was taking his third shot, Barkley said he would donate $50,000 if the 42-year old football star would keep it on the green. Brady didn’t.

During the fourth shot, Barkley joked, “How many shots do you want? Come on, I’m going to give you some shots man, I want some of you.”
“Don’t worry, it ain’t over yet,” Brady replied. “I think you just made him mad, Chuck,” host Brian Anderson said. “No, he can take a joke,” Barkley replied. And then Brady replied with an incredible shot.

Brady’s initial shots were so wayward that people on social media started making jokes on the NFL star.
“I’ve always felt like Tom Brady and I had a lot in common, but after watching his golf game, I actually think we might have been separated at birth,” one of the tweets read while another said, “Brady is making me feel so much better about my game.”

Brady and Mickelson eventually lost the game to Tiger Woods and Manning. The charity match raised $20m for coronavirus relief efforts in the United States. Woods was impressed by Brady’s performance on a field that he is not accustomed to.
“I take my hat off to Tom and Peyton,” Woods said as per BBC Sport. “This is our arena, this is what we do for a living. I couldn’t imagine going on the field and do what they do.”
