Tom Brady, the NFL legend, and his wife Gisele Bundchen have been all over the news in the past few weeks for rumors about their divorce. There is yet to be any confirmation of such reports, but both parties have hinted at problems in the work-life balance. 

In a recent podcast, Robert Horry, the seven-time NBA Champion, has given thoughts on the new comments made by Brady on this situation. Horry came out with strong opinions criticizing the attitude of the seven-time Super Bowl champion towards the situation.

Robert Horry on Tom Brady’s excuses

Tom Brady came out in a recent podcast with his comments about his NFL preparations and much more. He compared going away for a football season to taking part in military deployment. And as much as the NFL icon would like to live his life and maintain a work-life balance, his competitive spirit takes over. Which is how he always has been.

Horry was asked what he thought about the comments on the ‘Big Shot Bob Pod’ by Bomani Jones. The Los Angeles Lakers legend criticized the NFL icon about the comments, mentioning how it was unfair to compare anything with war as playing a sport is not as dangerous as risking your life. Horry gave examples of great athletes to enhance his point of view. 

The Lakers Legend added to those comments by signifying that the seven-time NFL legend could live without staying three days in the film room analyzing the game.

“Dude, You have all the money in the world, you could stream that s**t, from where you at home. I’m sure you got a theatre in your d**n house, or you got a 70-inch screen at your house. Stream it to that and sit there. Have your kids come and sit down, ‘See this is what daddy do’, teach them. You never know they could be the next you,” said the Lakers legend.

Horry explicitly explains how the words of the NFL legend can be considered excuses. And how he could do things differently to maintain the athlete that he is, with the family life that he has.

Tom Brady’s 2022-23 season

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback has not had the best time on the field. The Buccaneers are 3-3 in the regular season of 2022-23. Brady has meanwhile taken a leave of absence from the team to deal with some personal issues.
