The one player that comes to mind from the Houston Rockets roster this season is James Harden. He has been holding up the team from crumbling since their star guard, Russell Westbrook’s absence. As of now, they stand at a 2-2 tie against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They were doing well in the first two games but the offensive load on Harden became too much to handle. Therefore, Thunder quickly covered up the 2-0 deficit in the last two games.

The Rockets have only been able to reach so far all thanks to Harden. He deserves all the appreciation in the world, especially on his birthday.

Clint Capela and James Harden go way back. They were in the Houston Rockets franchise together and the teammates developed a friendship worth cherishing. Harden had joined the Rockets in 2012 after being traded by Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chris Paul. Clint began his NBA career with the Rockets in 2014 and left this year after being traded to the Atlanta Hawks.

On the special occasion of James’ birthday, Clint posted a plethora of their memories together on Instagram with a beautiful caption. The caption stated, “I wanted to take time to wish my big bro a happy belated birthday!!! I appreciate you brother for real. The vault is deep, 6 YEARS, but had to bring out a few flashbacks to highlight you on this day to show the love you’ve shown me since I got to Houston, introduced to a new city, language, life. You made sure I stayed locked in and secured myself first. You’ve helped me grow and learn a ton about what’s important. BeardGuy Go Get It!!”

This message shows that their friendship never withered away even after being in different teams.

Can the Rockets make a much-needed comeback?

Now that Russell Westbrook‘s return for game 5 against OKC has been confirmed, the Rockets could definitely cross the finish line of this series with a win. Harden has averaged 34.3 points so far and with Westbrook there to support him, OKC really has a big threat ahead of them.
