When Anthony Davis daggered in a buzzer-beater in the second game of the Conference Finals series, Lakers went up two games over the Nuggets. Well, Denver made a comeback in an exuberant fashion in Game 3 to halt the Lakers’ lead to 2-1. Jamal Murray was heated up and brought his team back in the series.
Despite upsetting the Clippers in the second round of the Playoffs, few expected a fight from Nuggets against the season favorites. But as we move ahead in this crucial series, Jerami Grant had an incredible game last night with 26 points. Jamal Murray added a clutch touch towards the end of the game.
Murray recorded a near triple-double with 28 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds to aid Nuggets to a 114-106 victory.

Did Nuggets hold a chance to be 2-1 up in the Conference Finals series?
Well, Denver fans will be stressing on the possibility of Nuggets being 2-1 up at this moment since Game 2 was a tremendous effort on their end. But unfortunately, AD’s clutch three-pointer left the Nuggets in a one-game series deficit.
Many teams have feared facing the tough star-studded Lakers’ lineup, but Jamal Murray and co. seem daring since the very beginning of this series. They have proved to be the underdogs this time, pushing out Utah Jazz and LA Clippers from the Playoff campaign.

Murray commented on the 2-1 series gap in the post-game interview. “We had Game 2. I thought we played great in Game 2, we just had a couple of moments that really hurt us,” he told reporters. “So we feel like we should be up 2-1 right now,” Murray said.

“We have to move on to Game 4 now. In the Clippers series, we dropped Game 3, so we have to take care of stuff that we can control. We’ve got to do that if we want to win.”
There isn’t a force like LeBron James in the league. However, Murray is hitting the right note in these Playoffs. It may turn out as the dream title run for the Nuggets. Their unpredictability is high as a team, so fans should wait for the two sides to deliver before making any assumptions.
