Obviously, when Donald Trump was elected president, Bill Russell wasn’t the happiest person. The Celtics legend has tweeted against the American President many times. His tweets have been critical of Trump’s policies. The most recent of these tweets came on June 13, when Bill wrote about the protests. Bill Russell, in his tweet, tried to disprove Trump’s claim that his government is the most beneficial one yet for African-American people. Russell frequently calls out the President, but Trump has chosen to not respond even once. Bill also recently tweeted a photograph in which he was kneeling. The tweet was in support of the ongoing movement and also took a jab at Donald Trump.

The 11 time NBA champion also attended several protests with his wife. Even at the age of 86, he is one of the best and most influential ambassadors of the movement. The Hall of Famer has impressed many people around the World with his fighting spirit and will continue to do so as long as he can.
