The Los Angeles Lakers recently emerged as the 2020 NBA champions in Orlando. This is the 17th title for the franchise that has catered to some of the greats in NBA history. It was home to the Black Mamba, and now LeBron James is their new superstar holding the trophy for Lakers.
While LeBron James and the Lakers held the trophy in the Walt Disney bubble, Los Angeles streets came alive with celebrations from LA fans. It was a massive day for a lot of players on the Lakers’ roster. While Bron achieved his career’s fourth title, Anthony Davis cherished his first ever in the league.
Some veteran stars like Dwight Howard and Rajon Rondo also enjoyed their first and second titles, respectively. It was a well-dominated year by the franchise. After losing the legendary Kobe Bryant in an unfortunate helicopter crash this January, this victory was all the more sweeter for the Lakers.
