The Los Angeles Clippers locked horns with the Lakers in the pre-season today, and they ended up on the losing side. This matchup held huge importance for one player in particular – Montrezl Harrell.
The 2020 NBA Sixth Man of the Year left the Clippers this offseason and went to the other side of LA. Harrell had a great game as he helped the Lakers pull an 87-81 victory over his former team.
Harrell ended his night with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 assists while knocking 5 of 13 shots in the game. While Harrell is focusing on adjusting to his new environment, his former teammates took every chance to throw him off his game.

Beverley is known for his vocal presence on the floor, and Harrell must be well aware of the same. Despite these distractions, Harrell had a great first game for the purple and gold. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of good things for the 26-year-old.
