The Portland Trail Blazers have a lot of determination within the team to succeed this season. Their seeding games performance has propelled them all the way to the playoffs. While many stated that the Blazers might be tired from their hectic schedule, their on-court moves depict their passion and desire to win. 

The Blazers took on the Lakers in their much-anticipated round one series in the 2020 NBA playoffs. The idea of a Blazers upset is making its rounds on the internet, and the players are certainly adding fire to the notion with their flashy plays!

CJ McCollum has been the perfect partner to compliment Dame Lillard’s talent. Both players share a wonderful chemistry and create magical moments on the court with their skillset. Here’s one such instance from the Lakers game. 

The Blazers took the lead right from the start of the game and stayed ahead when heading into the third quarter. With ten minutes left on the clock, McCollum received a pass from Lillard and then executed a brilliant move. 

After receiving the ball, McCollum dribbled past Kentavious Caldwell-Pope with a quick fake to enter the perimeter. There, he was met by Anthony Davis, who is a supreme defender. But CJ McCollum made AD look like an amateur with yet another quick direction shift and tremendous ball handling. 

McCollum is an integral part of the Blazers’ backcourt, and the second-best player in the team. The 28-year-old finding his form in the Lakers series is as important as Lillard stepping up for the team.

Charles Barkley is known for making bold predictions as an analyst. Some sit well with fans, while some don’t. With regard to the Lakers versus Blazers series, Barkley has picked his favorite, and it is Portland that he is rooting for. Chuck has no love for the Lakers and we don’t know why.

In a pre-game show on TNT, Charles Barkley strongly foretold that the Blazers will have an easy series against the purple and gold. “I don’t think the Lakers can score on them,” he said.

Moreover, he seemed certain that the Lakers don’t have the upper hand, even though they’re the #1 seed.  “If the Lakers can win, which I don’t believe, LeBron would have to go crazy for four games,” he stated.
