While Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors stay rested away from the bubble, Portland Trail Blazers are creating havoc for their competitors inside the Orlando Bubble. Damian Lillard helped pull an upset over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series Tuesday night. It included a number of crushing three’s by Lillard which led to a conclusion of 100-93.
The three’s reminded everyone that nobody in the league has a range like him and he steps up exactly when Blazers need it the post. This is a statement that former NBA player, Kenny Smith also agrees to.

After the game, Kenny marveled over Damian’s performance on Inside the NBA. In fact, he kind of threw a challenge over to Stephen Curry by saying, “I don’t think you could shoot as deep as him, Steph. I got to see it when you come back!”.
However, Stephen Curry caught wind of the comment and responded on Twitter,” Love you… but you trippin right now” tagging Kenny Smith. Curry has been showcasing unbelievable range for the Warriors way before Lillard.

But because he isn’t in the bubble, Kenny Smith responds back by saying that it’s because it’s been a while since he last saw Curry play.

This is undoubtedly true that Curry has no means of proving himself right now. Even though the remarks between the two parties were very friendly in nature, Stephen Curry’s legacy should not be taken lightly. He has averaged 43% from downtown and can be a very tough competitor for Lillard. The Warriors superstar will definitely use this as motivation in the next season.
