Jimmy Butler is now ‘Jimmy Dazzler’ in all respects. He has battled his way against all the media hype that was backing the Lakers prior to the NBA Finals. In Jimmy, people are now seeing the Dwyane Wade of 2006 Finals who pulled the Heat from 0-2 down against the Dallas Mavericks.

In that series, Dwyane Wade averaged 39.25 points in the last four games to gift Miami Heat its maiden NBA Championship. Today, the onus is on Jimmy to pull off the same wonder under different circumstances. He does not have a monster like Shaquille O’Neal to help with the defense. All he has is a team of underdogs that are well-coached.

Jimmy G. Buckets timed 47 minutes and 11 seconds on the court. He was relentless in his demeanor and put his body on the line to win the game. He knew that winning against a team as big as the Lakers will not be possible with him resting on the bench. In the clutch moments of the game, there came a point when he almost gasping for air.

Head coach Erik Spoelstra supported his choice to continue playing no matter what. As a result, he delivered an intense performance that reflected insane precision. The man went so heavy on his body that it became tough for him to even walk straight. He definitely had some muscle cramps, as was evident in this video taken after his post-game conference ended.

In the NBA Finals 2020 (until Game 5), Butler is scoring at an average of 29 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 10.2 apg, 2.6 spg, and all this at 55.5% shooting from the field. His greatest opponent, LeBron James, is 30.2 / 11.4 / 8.2 / 1.2 / 57.3% on the same comparative parameters. These stats prove how he has improved his game to match the level of a potential Finals MVP.

Jimmy scored yet another triple-double and with that, managed 5 steals too. He was omnipresent on both the ends of the court, contributing greatly. He had Duncan Robinson to support him immensely, especially with five threes in the second half. Everyone delivered in the team effort, but Jimmy’s sacrifice comes as the silver lining.
