As soon as Kobe Bryant entered the league in 1996, he struck a sneaker deal with Adidas for six-years. Upon the completion of his first sneaker contract in the NBA, Kobe took the other route and decided to opt for Nike to be his sneaker partner. The iconic brand developed a massive collaboration with Kobe ever since. The brand continues to honor the Mamba by producing beautiful sneakers even after his untimely death. 

Last month, we saw a rumored release date for the launch of the first posthumous Kobe Bryant sneakers. The news certainly excited fans, but the Nike Kobe V Proto ‘Big Stage’ has not been released yet.

Lakers star Anthony Davis sported another colorway of the exact design. He donned it during the 2020 All-Star game in Chicago. Design of another iconic Kobe Bryant sneakers have been posted online

In 2010, Nike released Kobe 5 ‘Bruce Lee,’ containing a captivating sneaker design. The pair of sneakers just look stunning in their bright yellow color which pays homage to martial artist Bruce Lee. A few months ago, we came across news that the OG version of these sneakers is on the verge of being re-released.

The Nike zoom’s are fast approaching and the white colorway is simply stunning. The original yellow design was inspired by Bruce Lee’s bodysuit in the movie “Game of Death.” Moreover, the three scars on the design are from “Enter the Dragon,” a movie that was released posthumously after Lee’s death.
