Kobe Bryant was a star right from his high school career itself. He gained recognition as a sophomore and we do associate with his NBA days. But not many have watched him making a mark at 17 years of age for Lower Merion High School. Reportedly, there is an unseen video of young Kobe that is going on auction in a few weeks.
Since junior years in college Kobe was outstanding his peers. Averaging 31.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists per game as a young boy, he earned the Pennsylvania Player of the Year Award. Moving into his senior years at Lower Merion he was named the Naismith High School Player of the Year in 1996.

It’s been 24 years and Mamba’s legacy still continues. And now all this time later almost 22 hours of Bryant’s high school game and interview footage is going to go on auction. It is going to be held on July 23 for around a range of $250,000 to $350,000.

This footage also includes other eminent figures such as LeBron James, Tom Brady, Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Phelps, Dwyane Wade, and Ryan Braun according to CNN. This video hasn’t been uploaded on any platform. It will be unseen footage of the former Lakers star that will be auctioned.
After a splendid high school career, the 17-year old Kobe was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets and traded to Lakers as the 13th overall pick. Over the years he became a legend after winning five championships and being named to 18 NBA All-Star games. His list of achievements is beyond measure and so are his numbers. Bryant earned a name at a very young age and ever since created an impact in the league.
