“There’s Nothing on the Floor That I Cannot Do”: Lakers’ LeBron James Reflects Back on His Phenomenal NBA Career

In the last 17 years, LeBron James has established himself as the face of the NBA. During this timespan, LeBron has accomplished everything a player can dream of, in the league.

He has been to the NBA finals 10 times and has been on both the winning and losing sides. But that doesn’t take away what he has achieved so far in his career. Even in his 17th year as a pro, LBJ is competing for the NBA championship and is just 3 wins away from bagging it for the fourth time.

James revealed takeaways from his illustrious career in an interview prior to Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

“Best teacher in life is experience and I’ve played against great coaches throughout my career. Not only in regular season but in the postseason throughout first, second, third, finals round, I have played against some exceptional coaches and hall of fame players. 

“… They have all helped me to get to this point where I am today. To a point where I have no weakness offensively or defensively… There’s nothing on the floor that I cannot do at this point in my career. That’s all because of the competition and the adversity and the losses and everything I have been through throughout the course of my career.

“… Just all like I said, the best teacher in life is experience and I’ve experienced it all.”

As King James mentioned, he has been through several ups and down in his fabulous career. However, without losing, one can never understand the true weakness in their game. LBJ has used this approach in his career and now is just a few days away from being an NBA champion once again.

Speaking of the NBA Finals, the purple and gold were phenomenal in Game 1 of the series. After a rough start in the first quarter, they turned the game around and never took the foot off the gas.

While Anthony Davis completely destroyed the Heat’s defense, LBJ himself registered a near triple-double performance. James finished the game with 25 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 assists while shooting 52.9% from the field.

The LA Lakers are in the perfect position to hang banner #17 in the rafters. But can they take a comfortable 2-0 lead in the series or will the Miami Heat make a stunning comeback in the series?
