Outspoken Shaquille O’Neal has many interests and took his chance with his every love at least once. The big guy tried his luck in rapping too and had one platinum Rap Album by his name. While speaking to “the Pivot Podcast” Diesel claimed that he is the best Rapper Athlete.

Shaquille O’Neal explains why he is a top rapping athlete
Former NBA champion, Shaquille O’Neal had a short but astonishingly successful Rapping career. O’Neal began writing rap music in 1993. His debut album was “Shaq Diesel,” which created history for him. It sold over 1 million copies and received Platinum certification.
Shaq was questioned about his raping considerations and how he got into the completely different world than the hoops. Also, he was asked to rate himself as a rapper, where diesel made the claim of being the best rapping athlete.
Shaq bluntly responded, “In acting, I’m a terrible. Rapping I’m the number one athlete rapper.”
He also shared his experience of getting into the rap-thing. He explained how one show changed his perception and urged him to do something different from the Basketball. Not the usual thing that every other athlete might do.

This was case of 1993, when Athletes are pin-point focus on their careers – at least in first 3 years of it. Shaq recalled, “Out of the blue I just said I want to wrap up my favorite rap group he said cool so I called four shenanigans we did it, we did a song.”
Building on the confidence of his first attempt, Shaq got a booster when he got an offer for 3 albums. But smart Shaquille O’Neal chunked out the numbers and put forward his conditions to the sponsors. He gave out the details as he added, “I said listen, let’s be realistic I’m not a rapper only way I’ll do this if you let me rap with my favorite rappers they said deal.”
