LeBron James is not a young player anymore. As he has aged, his priorities have shifted from basketball. James is known to be a family man, with the lives of his children well-known to everyone. His son, Bronny James is even projected to eventually make it to the NBA.
The bubble separated players from their family, something not many players were up for. People have been in and out to deal with family issues, and months on end without family around could be hard on these players. And LeBron James is no different.

“Family always comes first. Having that in your life, you have to put yourself in the position of what centers you,” James said. “Meditating helps a lot for me personally with taking a lot of deep breaths, closing my eyes and just centering myself and listening to my inner self and talking to my kids and my mom. That definitely is something that keeps me sane in the bubble.”

LeBron has shown that he can deal with any circumstance thrown at him. However, it wasn’t a regular circumstance he had to deal with. Even though he has led the Lakers to the second-round, it must have been hard. Being away from family after the years LeBron has already spent in the league has to be a bothersome issue.

However, the court says otherwise. It seems that LeBron is more than capable of keeping his personal struggles within himself. On the court, you could say he is still the player he always was. He has averaged 24.3 points, 10 rebounds, and 9.6 assists through the playoffs. His balanced play has facilitated success for not just Anthony Davis, but the entire team.
The Lakers are currently 1-1 in their second-round series against the Houston Rockets. While LeBron will have his wife and mother with him in the bubble, at the end of the day it comes down to his mental toughness. All the players in the bubble have built that after being away for so long. Now the struggle is just on the court, as loved ones are there to motivate them for this final leg.
