The LA Clippers’ performance against the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 of the Playoffs tilted the scales of balance to the LA-based outfit’s favor. They now hold a 2-1 advantage over Dallas and can seal the deal in two more games.
On the other hand, the situation is not looking too bright for the Mavs. Former Euro League MVP Luka Doncic left the court limping mid-game after an ankle injury. As of now, he is questionable to compete in Game 4 of the series.
The Clippers closed out the game with Kawhi’s amazing scoring effort. But Paul George still hasn’t found his rhythm yet. ‘Playoff P’ had a lackluster game 3 scoring only 14 points on 3-16 shooting.

No more excuses for Clippers star Paul George
Last year, Paul George stepped up his game during the regular season. But Damian Lillard and the Blazers defeated them in 5 games in Playoffs. At the time, he was struggling with a shoulder injury, so he was forgiven for his poor performance.
However, that is not the case this year. George has no injury trouble, and he has Kawhi to handle the scoring load.
Charles Barkley on NBA on TNT believes he no longer deserves to be called ‘Playoff P’
“Kawhi’s been a leader, he’s like you’ll guys get on my back. Playoff P can’t keep getting no passes.” said Barkley. “You can’t be calling yourself Playoff P and lose all the time.

“You don’t see me walking around saying, hey, I won the championship, and I didn’t win it. They don’t call me championship Chuck,” he concluded.

Charles is not wrong by any means. George hasn’t won a single Playoff series since 2013. Moreover, he could not contain Damian Lillard in the last play a year ago. This began a feud between him and Lillard and continues even today.
When George suffered that gruesome injury back in 2014, many analysts believed his career was practically over. But he has been performing consistently, at least in the regular season. However, he needs to bring back his Playoff P persona to help the Clippers win it all this year.
