Lou Williams is in thick soup. The 33-YO senior in the very balanced LA Clippers team has been ignorant of the NBA Bubble regulations. He took permission to move out of the bubble to attend a funeral. But it later appeared more like a sabbatical.
The Clippers guard is receiving a lot of heat from fans who are blaming him for his immature behavior. Reportedly, he went to a gentleman’s club to pick up food. His picture with rapper Jack Harlow got him into serious trouble, and he will now miss two important games because of a 10-day quarantine. However, his fellow player Ivica Zubac has come forward to take his side.

Lou Williams finds support in an LA Clippers teammate
Ivica Zubac has finally played a scrimmage game for the Clippers. He had earlier tested COVID positive and was hence unavailable. Clippers’ center played for 13 minutes and it’s an enormous relief for the entire camp. Now he has extended support towards his friend in the problem. He said, “We got your back, Lou!”
He showed some team spirit there. Ivica also pointed towards the strength that Lou brings to the team. He remembers their association from the Lakers, and shared, “I played with Lou my Rookie year on the Lakers. Everywhere I’ve played with him, he’s been the most liked guy. Lou is a true leader & the fact that everyone came to his defense speaks a lot about him.”
Are the Clippers in trouble?
Center Montrezl Harrell is going to miss the first game against the Lakers. He was excused to move out for some emergency and now has to stay in quarantine for the coming two days. The doubts on Patrick Beverley remain. Shooting Guard Landry Shamet is also serving quarantine. So all-in-all, it is testing times for a team that is otherwise very strong. Thankfully for them, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are going strong.

Kendrick Perkins criticized Lou Williams for his lackluster show of maturity. They have already taken a 106-102 loss against the Sacramento Kings. Missing out on important two games can lead to tremendous damage to his side. Especially when the Clippers meet their arch-rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers on July 30th, at 9:00 PM ET.
