Miami Heat star has his priorities all set
Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat share a great rivalry. It’s so tense that they got to play each other not once but twice in the Orlando Bubble. Coincidentally, Pacers lost the first game, scoring the same “92” against Heat’s 114.
In an interview, Jimmy Butler accepted the rivalry and then explained his mindset when he plays against his ‘foe’, TJ Warren, “I mean the same thing, high level of competition. I keep it at that for now and keep it at Basketball. I know that I have a job to do just like he has a job to do but I know that the group of guys that we have, we’re gonna make sure our job gets done.”
He also threw light on the recent incident when he picked a foul against OKC’s Chris Paul when the latter threw the ball on Duncan Robinson earlier in the game. He exclaimed, “I just don’t like you picking on my young fellas like that. I feel like you don’t have to do that.” He added, “I don’t care- I don’t need friends here in the bubble. I barely leave my room. I’m in my room minding my business. I’m not gonna see nobody.”
Lastly, he expresses how chances are always strong things heat up when all the teams share the same space in the bubble. He pointed out, “I do think it’s tough, having to play somebody that you don’t have to walk by on the way to testing or to a meeting, or to a practice or something like that. So it’s no telling but I don’t think they’re gonna be no punches thrown.”

Jimmy G. Buckets has a special history with TJ Warren of the Indiana Pacers. They got into a tussle in a January 9 game when Heat defeated Pacers 122-108. It turned into a nasty sight where there were clear exchanges of cuss words.
Jimmy is scoring at an average of 19.9 ppg, 6.7 rpg, and 6.0 apg in the first season for the Heat. Contrastingly, TJ Warren is struggling with Plantar Fasciitis. But they will face each other again when the two play against each other in the playoffs beginning Tuesday.
