NBA 2K had cheerful news for fans with a new addition in their game. They announced new Kobe Bryant challenges in their game a few hours after they promised special in-game content.

“Today is all about the Mamba. We have some special in-game content coming your way soon,” a tweet from NBA 2K MyTeam on Monday morning read.

Later, they announced the special in-game content to be new challenges based on a few iconic moments in Bryant’s career. The challenges, as per their announcement, had a lob to Shaquille O’Neal apart from his 81-point game and the final game where he scored 60 points.

The game had more good news for the fans with these challenges being free, NBA 2k provided a code for gamers to gain access to the challenges.

NBA 2K had a tribute for Kobe Bryant

Apparently, April 13 was the date when Kobe had played his final NBA game- a 60-point masterpiece against Utah Jazz. On Mamba Day, NBA 2k had paid a tribute to Bryant before announcing new challenges in their game.

Earlier on Monday, they posted video snippets of Bryant from the game with a caption: “Now and forever a member of the 2K Family. Today we pay tribute to the Mamba. We miss you, Kobe.”
