Miami Heat has been an absolute dark horse this season. Jimmy Butler proved a point out there that his team can be a major threat in the Playoffs. Currently, Miami is in a dominating 3-1 position against the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Over the years, Heat has been an underdog as a franchise after the Big Three got divided. Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, and LeBron James had made this team a star-studded affair in 2010. Those were the flourishing years of Miami. Ever since then, Jimmy Butler is the new constant hope for them with his exemplary skill-set.

Heat’s major lead in the current series against the Bucks came as a shock to many who expected the reverse to happen.

How to define Miami Heat culture over the years?

Considering how strong they are going in the season, former team player Chris Bosh talked at length about the Heat culture that has pertained over the years. He extends the credit to head coach, Erik Spoelstra for maintaining that environment and pattern within the team.

“It’s just the approach to things. It’s the way of the Heat, to be hardworking, to be in shape, to compete regardless of who’s playing. I give huge credit to Spoe (Erik Spoelstra),” Bosh told in a chat with JJ Redick on ‘The Three Podcast’.

“He’s done a phenomenal job of continuing the Heat culture and putting those things together and figuring out how to transition all those beliefs on the court. It’s very hard to win one NBA game. Just trying to be consistent as a team and have these principles to base the system, it’s not an easy thing to do. But Spoe has brought an intensity.”

Bosh is impressed with Butler and Heat roster at present

According to Bosh, the Heat culture still reflects in the current team. With Butler, Goran Dragic, Bam Adebayo, and Duncan Robinson on the roster, Bosh weighed on their capabilities.

“They’ve got the right players. Jimmy Butler’s done a phenomenal job this year. They’re really good at finding those guys that fit their culture, scrappy guys… They have a huge cornerstone in Bam Adebayo, he’s a tremendous player. He has his own style, I’ve never really seen anything like it in the way he approaches the game. Guys like Duncan Robinson proving in the way he’s just shooting the ball… He has been consistent the whole season. And guys like Goran accepting his role of coming off the bench. I don’t know too many other organizations where a guy would buy into that.”

If a two-time NBA champion has so much confidence in Miami’s team, do you think they’ll go long in this season?
