The former NBA champion is an active member of the ongoing movement. Kendrick believes that the movement can only progress if powerful white people take action. He has mentioned personalities like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in the said tweet. Perkins has expressed his views on the issue on numerous occasions. The 35-year-old has been on various news shows to talk about the issue.
Perkins played his final season with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2018 when they made it to the NBA Finals. The 6’10” Center has also been in the news for his interesting views on the MJ and LeBron debate. Perkins has ranked LBJ over MJ in all his interviews and has gotten a lot of heat for it from the media.

Kendrick has also tweeted about the upcoming elections and wants people to vote responsibly. He has also clashed with Donald Trump in the past. Like most Black figures, Perkins has also been critical of Trump’s policies. The Former Celtic has spoken out against Donald Trump on many occasions over the past few months. He has also tweeted about Trump’s actions against the Coronavirus in the recent past.
