It’s the same story with the Milwaukee Bucks. They begin their season with a bang and end up so close, yet so far to the NBA Championship. Last year, it was their second season in a row, with the best regular-season record. And once again, they could not make it out of the Eastern Conference. After losing to the Toronto Raptors in the Conference finals once, the Bucks have had enough and will look to revamp their roster.
This offseason is very important for the Bucks. They will have to focus on building the roster around their superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo. There were speculations that if the Bucks cannot get the title, Giannis will not sign his extension with them and will want to trade. However, Giannis has repeatedly denied these rumors so that Bucks are determined to bring in players to support their star.
They have been linked to many players for possible trade targets like New Orleans Pelicans’ Jrue Holiday and Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chris Paul. Although, the one player who has gained the most traction is Indiana Pacers‘ Victor Oladipo.

Is Victor Oladipo exactly what the Bucks are looking for?
On ESPN’s ‘The Jump’, Rachel Nichols, Richard Jefferson, and Amin Elhassan discussed how Bucks can improve themselves. Jefferson stated, “I really think the Bucks need a high-level B player.
“I think Victor Oladipo definitely fits that. Because when we look at George Hill, when we look at just the way their team has been made off, these guys just haven’t had the impact that you want for them in the postseason. Look, if you have a great player, your job is to fill deficiencies around him. And they just haven’t done a great job with that the last couple of seasons.”

When Amin asked if the team is talented enough to win the title or not, Richard said, “I don’t think that they fill in the gaps well enough.” Oladipo is about to become an unrestricted free agent in 2021. It’s most likely that the Pacers and he will part ways.

Therefore, Indiana should go with the trade so that they receive some value for his skills. Otherwise, they will lose him for nothing during free agency. Do you think Oladipo fits with the Bucks?
