The Clippers might not have the assets or the funds to bring Giannis into the team now. However, they certainly can in the future.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard will see their contracts expiring in the 2021 offseason, which coincides with Giannis’ final year on his contract agreement with the Bucks, unless he signs an extension.

Giannis would become an unrestricted free-agent by 2021, which would also force the Bucks to offer him a massive extension. If the 25-year-old shifts from his current mindset, there would be a lot of teams wanting to lure him in, and consider the Clips as one of them!

In an article published by The Ringer,’ it was mentioned that the LA Clippers have serious interest in pursuing for Giannis. “One of the sources said Giannis has an “admiration” for Clippers head coach Doc Rivers,” the article read.

After all the viral breakouts about Giannis joining the Heat and the Raptors, this revelation seems to be the most eye-catching one. Seeing him in the Clips’ jersey certainly excites one’s interest!

But they were met by the force of Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat, who are on a mission to prove their doubters wrong. The Heat dominated the series and only gave the Bucks breathing room for a single victory, with Giannis injured and out for one-and-a-half games.

With his likely MVP season ending bitterly, Giannis has pledged his loyalty to Milwaukee, which seems to be his only team in mind for now. However, one season can change everything, and will we see the ‘Greek Freak’ suiting up for a different team in the NBA
