Jimmy Butler has been the architect of this Miami Heat team. This Heat team wasn’t supposed to be in the Finals this year, but they upset favorites like the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics to make it this far. While it was an all-around team effort that helped Miami get to this state, the two Finals wins have been Jimmy Butler specials.

Butler dropped a 40-point triple-double in Game 3 and a 35-point triple-double in Game 5. He has led from the front and now this team is on the precipice of forcing a Game 7. Butler was open about his confidence in his team to possibly pull off a 3-1 comeback. However, he made a stronger emphasis on game six in his recent pre-game interview.

“I am sure they wanted to win. Thought they was going to win coming into it, as did we. But it was a hard-fought game. I think it’ll be even harder fought next game but I like out chances.”

Butler is exuding confidence on and off the pitch. Despite running on his last legs to close out Game 5, Butler looks sprightly ahead of game six. The Lakers have all the pressure on them, as they need to close this series out next game. The Lakers haven’t lost two consecutive games all post-season.

However, this Heat team is different. Even though Game 5 came down to the last possession, the Heat controlled the entire game. The only reason the Lakers were in it was because LeBron James wouldn’t let them fall too far back. While the Heat may feel they can win Game 6, a threatened LeBron James is the scariest LeBron James. We have seen that in multiple games where he has faced elimination. While the Lakers aren’t going to be eliminated, going to a game seven is just as scary.

Like Butler said, Game 6 is going to be even more hard-fought than game five. One team is fighting for their season, and the other is fighting to ensure they don’t lose all their momentum. Somehow, both teams are equally dangerous.
