The Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat will lock horns once again on Sunday night for Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Miami Heat are down 2-3 in the finals and will be facing elimination for the second time in the series.
However, they are a team that refuses to go down without a fight. Superstar Jimmy Butler willed his team to survive Game 5 with a fabulous 35-point triple-double. Butler barely sat out on the bench as he played 47 minutes on his the last outing.
For the Lakers, this is a make or break game as they had a golden opportunity to close out the series in Game 5. LeBron James put on a breathtaking 40 point scoring night, but it was all flushed down the toilet in the last possession of the game.

James drove into the lane luring the Heat defense along with him and found a wide-open Danny Green on top of the key. Surprisingly, Green couldn’t finish the job and allowed Heat to stay alive in the series.

Following the crushing defeat in Game 5, the Lakers had a concern for a potential heel injury to Anthony Davis. However, Davis is cleared fit to play and will be available for Frank Vogel in the decisive Game 6. LBJ and Green are still listed probable for the upcoming game, but luckily it is nothing serious.

So the predicted lineup for the Lakers is LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Danny Green.
Miami Heat injury update and lineup prediction
Miami Heat has been nothing but impressive in the 2020 postseason. The team overcame all the odds and made it to the NBA finals. However, many already had written them off even before the finals began, expecting the Lakers to make a clean sweep.
The Heat proved their critics wrong once again and took two games from the Lakers. If they keep performing at the same level, they might tie the series 3 games apiece after all. But they would have to do it without veteran point guard Goran Dragic, who is yet to recover from a foot injury in Game 1.

The Lakers will look to finish the job in Sunday night’s matchup. Moreover, superstars AD and LBJ were phenomenal in the previous game, playing their role perfectly.

Contrastingly, Jimmy Butler is already pretty exhausted, playing 40+ minutes for the Heat in his last three games. Unless Butler and co. pull another rabbit out of the hat, the purple and gold should close out the series in Game 6.
