The 2020 NBA draft class is easily one of the most well-scouted classes in history. Due to the season, being suspended for almost 5 months, it gave scouts a lot of time to figure out the strengths and weaknesses of each player.
Furthermore, there is still no consensus first overall pick in the draft. As a result, many lottery teams are in talks of giving up their picks for an All-Star talent right now.
However, NBA insider Brian Geltzeiler believes that these are nothing more than rumors. He explained his point in an episode of the “SiriusXM NBA” radio show.

“I think it’s actually unlikely to see any of these top three picks get traded… First of all, the depth in this draft, I don’t think you have teams that are itching to trade up.
“And because you don’t have teams itching to trade up, I think it’s gonna be very difficult to be able to realize the kind of value you wanna realize for trading #1, #2 overall pick.
“I am gonna wait it out and see what’s there. I don’t know if I am going to be all that aggressive.”

The NBA draft will most likely take place on 18th November, yet the odds are changing continually for the #1 pick. While some believe Anthony Edwards should go in the first place, others are rooting for LaMelo Ball.
In the next 2 weeks, the situation should clear up, till then it would be pretty hard to make the correct assumption for the upcoming draft.
