Everybody knew it was ‘Dame Time’ when Jusuf Nurkic tapped his wrist after Lillard’s three-pointer. In a high-intensity contest between Lakers and Trail Blazers, the latter made it to a 100-93 win. However, Lakers’ best three-point shooter, Danny Green, messed up his performance in this crucial match.

It was quite a poor show from both the teams on the offensive end. But as the game progressed, Blazers became hot on the court, dropping threes from deep. Damian Lillard found some intense energy in the last quarter and finished the game with 34 points.

LeBron James had a record-breaking night, but couldn’t grab the win. He added 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 16 assists to the Lakers’ defeat. His partner, Anthony Davis, also dropped a few shots inside the paint with assists coming from LeBron himself. But that also didn’t help them to the finish line.

The major disappointment lay on fellow Lakers’ starter, Danny Green, who was shooting a mere 2/8 from beyond the arc.

Against Lillard and CJ McCollum’s three-point talent, Green was expected to step up as the best from Lakers’ end. But that never happened in the entire match. He recorded only 10 points and 2 rebounds in his 24 minutes of play.

Lakers fans had a nice laugh at Danny Green after his poor performance

Well, that low-end play from Green angered the fans enough to take digs at him. On his recent Instagram post, NBA fans filled the comments section with their not-so-friendly thoughts.
